Whtvr.me was a collaboration between myself, Mike Tuton and Jay Lorenzini. The idea was to make an app that was the simplest way to make a group plan. We had all experienced difficulties in the past making a group activity come together--too many people means too many opinions. This app was our solution. It allowed one person to create an event, invite people, create polls, schedule calendar events, real-time chat with push notifications, and social integration.

The app was built in Objective-C for the iPhone. The back end was Java built on Google App Engine. We used Urban Airship for Push, and Facebook for social and friend finding.

We never launched the app to the public, but we learned a lot about working on an idea from scratch, and building something out of nothing.
